Biography
Tekifuku, Defoe C.Y. Chan was born on 22nd July,
1984, and grew up in Hong Kong. He moved to Brisbane for his bachlor study in the University of Queensland in 2004.
Business Management
Defoe study business management in University of
Queensland. In 2006, he launched his first IT business in Hong Kong in
2006 as known as Tekifuku Information Technology & Network and managed the business operations remotely
from Australia. The
company recorded consecutive breakevens in the first two
years. Defoe gained his first leadership experience by
leading his high school philharmonic in 2000. Besides school, he has
also been actively performing leadership roles in his gaming career. Defoe started playing PC game since he was 10
years old. He formed a 4-man-squad known as [SPEED] in 2000 playing
first person shooter game with an expertise manner. Defoe joined
several on-line gaming associations such as Hokuto Hong Kong Union in
2001, and promoted to leadership position shortly after joining, he
developed an information system to manage team members efficiently.
After HHKU, he joined Crazy (Kayzee) Family in 2002. Currently serving
United Hunters aka =|UH|= as IT Consultant since 2003.
Information Technology
Defoe first touched his computers in 1993, when
computer interface was still in command-line mode. He started learning
QBASIC in 1995. He focused on world wide web related programming
languages or applications such as HTML, CSS, CGI, Perl, C++, PHP, MySQL,
Flash, ASP.NET and etc. in 1998~2006, while he also learned other computer
skills as in server administration with UNIX / BSD / Linux / Windows,
graphic design with GIMP / Adobe Photoshop.
